Part 2 - World of Nature
 

Welcome to the catalogue of the Victor Herinex Collection (HC) - "Masterworks of Man and Nature". This catalogue is designed to complement a video tour of the entire Collection. Both this catalogue and the video need to be studied to gain a full appreciation of the magnitude and scope of this unique Collection.

The Collection features an amazing assemblage of museum quality Archeological Artefacts, Fossils, Meteorites,  Dinosauria, Curios and much more. For a private collection, its size and scope are truly exceptional. It is very seldom that a private collection of such exceptional size and range is presented to the public. The sale of this magnificent Collection provides an individual, organisation or government with a very rare opportunity to acquire an investment of great cultural, educational and scientific value.
 

Catalogue Structure

This Catalogue has been developed in a website format and is designed to be viewed in any of the common web browsers. In order to facilitate a search of the complete Catalogue, the 15,140 individual Items are organised into an hierarchical structure of Collections, Divisions, Categories, Classes and Groups. For each Item, a record is provided that includes a catalogue number and a general description. As well, each record  includes a thumbnail image of the Item. Clicking on the thumbnail will open a full-screen image. In some cases a hyperlink is provided, below the thumbnail, to a different image of the same Item.

For convenience, the collections comprising the HC have been grouped together in the Catalogue into two parts:

Part 1 "The World of Man" (collections relating to the activities of mankind and comprising a total of 8,654 Items) and

Part 2 "The World of Nature" (collections relating to the natural world and comprising a total of 6,486 Items ).

Therefore, the overall Collection is presented as 15,140 Items with many Items comprised of numerous individual pieces.

Navigation

For each page of the Catalogue, links to the home pages of all collections are available via a link bar on the left-hand side of the page.

Within an individual collection, links between the sub-sections of that collection are available via link bars provided across the top of each page.

Navigation is also available via the forward and back arrows of your web browser.

Further Information
